At Fellowship, every student is seen, valued, and known. We celebrate each student’s unique strengths and walk alongside them, providing the encouragement and support needed to meet their full God-given potential. Fellowship Academy currently offers the following endorsements:

Public Service Health Science Endorsement Internship program

This endorsement is ideal for students interested in entering the medical field including nursing, sonography, chiropractic care, etc.

  • 8th Grade – PE / Health
  • 9th Grade – Biology
  • 10th Grade – Chemistry / Medical Terminology / Principles of Health Science
  • 11th Grade – Anatomy and Physiology / Physics
  • 12th Grade – Pathology / Internship
  • Students complete upper-level Anatomy and Pathophysiology classes and can then be placed in an internship of their interest.
  • Students will spend time each week in the field, under direct supervision of a health care professional of their interest.
  • Student interns are initially engaged in shadowing their respective professional mentor before being given tasks to complete and autonomy to act on their own with respect to skills and knowledge taught to them in class and by their mentor.
  • Student interns complete a log of the hours they work each week along with a reflection piece on the work they did and the responsibilities they were given.
  • Student interns work at these places of business during the school year. Many of our interns have been approached by their sponsoring directors to become full-time employees after graduation.

Dual Credit and Cooperative Studies

In order to help prepare Fellowship graduates for college or career, students may take dual credit courses during their junior and senior years through either Tarrant County College or LeTourneau University. Students must meet the eligibility and admission criteria set by the school they choose to attend. Courses are taught at the Fellowship campus or TCC, in addition to online for qualifying students. Students who wish to pursue technical careers may take courses through Tarrant County College to receive dual credit.

Fellowship Academy offers a Learning Lab to provide support for qualifying students with learning differences. Educational Assistance Plans (EAPs) are developed for Learning Lab students to help them meet personalized goals. Utilizing a small group learning environment, learning lab educators work in tandem with classroom teachers and families to provide support for dyslexia and other learning differences, helping students to realize their full potential.

Fees (2024-2025)
Level 1: Testing & Accommodation Only
  • Our Testing & Accommodation Center offers extended time and small group testing accommodations. This level is designed for students with current (within three years) diagnostic documentation on file and with testing accommodations noted in their Educational Assistance Plan (EAP). Qualified students may receive:
  • Up to 50% extra time on quizzes, tests, final exams, and achievement testing (if available).
  • Our Specialized Reading Support program offers eligible students in grades K-6 reading support. This level is designed for students with current (within three years) diagnostic documentation on file who are in need of additional reading support. Qualified students may receive:
  • Intervention activities, such as guided reading, phonics practice, and comprehension strategies tailored to their specific needs.
  • Reading support instruction which includes, but is not limited to, Orton-Gillingham-based phonics (sequential, direct, and exact with an over-learning component embedded in instruction) and hands-on, multi-sensory instruction.
  • Weekly sessions up to 3 hours per week.
  • Our Specialized Content Support program offers eligible students educational support. This level is designed for students with a current (within three years) medical or educational diagnosis on file which requires specific accommodations for success in the classroom. Qualified students may receive:
  • Academic strategies designed for individual learning needs
  • Support and communication for family, student, and teacher(s)
  • Analysis of learning needs and strategic planning
  • Management of accommodations through the Educational Assistance Plan (EAP)
  • Support in study skills
  • Time and organization management
  • Weekly sessions up to 3 hours per week
  • K-6 students: Lab time will be determined through a collaborative process. Students may miss a selected elective or special to meet their educational needs.
  • 7-12 students: Lab time is part of their schedule and takes the place of one of the class periods.
